 I'm bummed that I haven't found an app for the browser that would link google docs to picasaweb so you can transfer images stored at google docs to picasa...I mean come on google it's common sense. It's easy to upload hundreds of items to google docs whereas picasaweb has that sucky 4 file at a time interface unless you download the software to your computer and then you can ftp it in. Well my Mac is so old that isn't an option for me. So here is a random picture. Puddin's cat was laying all over my handspun

I transferred a ton of images to my google account and removed them from Dalequan.Com. The program I use to use for my gallery hasn't been updated in a while and has issues. Some I could fix some I can't so I just got rid of the gallery and will find a wordpress plugin and link it to the picasa once I get everything organized.

When I get home I'm going to see if I can transfer all my saved images from the laptop, the mac, and several discs to Picasaweb to hold as a backup location.

Cayenne all plied up

Well this stuff feels like brittle over dyed yarn. I'm hoping that changes when I wash it. When I was plying I ended up with several breaks in sections that shouldn't have broken. It's still very pretty yarn. After I finish the Punta in Peaches and Cream dyed by my husband, I will start spinning the Garnet from Fiber Optics. I have some gold bamboo, some pink and white bamboo, some of our hand dyed fiber from Sheep Shed Studio and then I think all I have left to spin will be natural fibers. The rest is inventory for She Spins.Com that I need to get packaged up and added to the website. Hopefully I stay motivated.

Good Morning

Woke up with a headache. Here is a picture of some beautiful fiber to to look at. The top is Ashley's sock yarn. I think it is Ashland Bay River Rocks. Now some might say, "Hey that's a small skein!" Actually, it's not. I have huge hands. My friend Peg calls me "Big Hands". (long story... needless to say smokers get spankings. ) I can palm a men's regulation basketball. I skeined this up on a Niddy Noddy with a 2 yard plus wrap around. x 384 wraps around.

The Orangey stuff is the Fiber Optics Cayenne. I am Navajo plying it. I'm guessing it will be fingering - sock weight and hoping for about 420 yards but I won't cry if it's more or less. I don't use the stuff yet.

Blah

Well this morning is proving to be a bit interesting. I got up at 5:30 to get the laundry that I stayed up to 1:00am washing. Then I was mopping floors, cleaning the cat box, taking trash out, and reorganizing. I'm trying to get as much clutter, boxes, and stuff we never use, look at, or touch out of the house. That's my goal. Simplify, simplify, simplify. Anyway here is the last package of fiber I ordered in 2010 before my fiber diet began.

Well almost got everything done.

We went over to J-Kov's house for the Superbowl game. I took my spinning wheel and spun and played with their adorable girls the entire time. I had a good time.
